United Pilots Tell Travelers about Management Greed

June 20, 2007 - Continuing the United MEC Strike Preparedness Committee's campaign to raise awareness among the traveling public of the corporate greed that seems to permeate the hallways of World Headquarters at United Airlines, more than 60 JFK-based pilots conducted informational picketing last week at La Guardia International Airport. The La Guardia event was one of a series of informational picketing being conducted across United pilot domiciles this summer.

Carrying signs outside La Guardia and handing leaflets to passengers as they entered the United terminal, United pilots expressed their belief that enough is enough when it comes to management lining their pockets with bonuses and stock options at the expense of the airline's pilots, other employees, and their families.
