Revise Security Checkpoint Access Procedures

With budgets strained and vigilance so critical, it makes little sense to spend scarce TSA assets on performing traditional passenger-style screening of the approximately 100,000 airline pilots as they pass through TSA checkpoints. Airline pilots are thoroughly prescreened by extensive government and employer criminal background checks and are constantly scrutinized by their fellow crewmembers, medical practitioners, FAA inspectors, and company staff. Removing prescreened pilots from the traditional passenger screening process will increase screening efficiencies and security in a cost-effective manner.
