New 2005 Take Flight ALPA Calendar Supports College Scholarships for Children of Fallen or Disabled Pilots

ALPA Announces 2004 ALPA Scholarship Program Winners

WASHINGTON, DCThe Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) announces the premiere of the 2005 Take Flight wall calendarjust in time for the holidays. This striking four-color calendar features twelve-months of dramatic aviation photography with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the ALPA Scholarship Program, which provides college scholarships for children of deceased or seriously disabled pilots.

ALPA’s Take Flight calendar not only presents spectacular scenes of aircraft in flight and compelling images of pilots at work, it also gives all those interested in aviation the opportunity to support students for whom a college education might otherwise be out of financial reach. In addition, each vivid photograph was taken by a pilot.

This year, the 2004 ALPA scholarships were presented to three talented and dedicated young women who have earned outstanding academic and extracurricular records.
