Comair Pilots to Informational Picket at Cincinnati Airport: Insist that Management “Get Serious” About Negotiations

CINCINNATI — The pilots of Comair, represented by the Air Line Pilots Association, International (ALPA), will conduct informational picketing at the Cincinnati Airport. Comair operates under the “Delta Connection” livery and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, Inc. (Other OTC: DALRQ).

Why:
The Comair pilots are picketing to demand a good faith effort from Delta and Comair management at the negotiating table, especially in light of an interim agreement the pilots approved last night with management. The agreement allows for 32 days to find the fair and equitable, consensual agreement that Comair pilots deserve. It is the pilots’ hope that the terms of this agreement will act as a bridge to the future.

When:
Friday, December 29, 2006, 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., EST

Where:
Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, Terminal 3, ground level (east side of the baggage claim area)

Founded in 1931, ALPA is the world’s largest pilot union, representing more than 60,000 pilots at 39 airlines in the United States and Canada. Visit the ALPA website at www.alpa.org.
