These critical questions will be front and center at the ALPA Air Safety Forum, which is among the highlights of a week-long commemoration of ALPA’s 75th anniversary.

The 2006 Air Safety Forum will gather leading aviation safety and security experts to discuss the latest developments, trends, and technologies in the airline industry. Issues that ALPA experts will cover include: mounting concern about pilot fatigue; making airport runways safer; better understanding the human factors involved in increasingly rare aviation accidents; enhancing cargo safety and security; and safely building air transportation capacity to meet future traffic. The Air Safety Awards Banquet, the Forum finale, will recognize excellence in the piloting profession.
