Delta Air Line Pilots to Picket

ATLANTA, Ga. -- Delta Air Line pilots, represented by the Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l (ALPA), will conduct informational picketing in three cities to demonstrate their continued disappointment with Delta management’s intransigence at the negotiating table and their apparent intent to use the bankruptcy process to reject the pilots’ contract.

Picketing will take place as follows:

Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport
Cincinnati, Ohio
Wednesday, March 22, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST

Los Angeles International Airport
Los Angeles, California
Wednesday, March 22, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. PST

Orlando International Airport
Orlando, Florida
Sunday, March 26, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST

Founded in 1931, ALPA represents 62,000 pilots at 39 airlines in the U.S. and Canada. ALPA represents approximately 6,000 active DAL pilots and 500 furloughed DAL pilots. Visit the ALPA website at http://www.alpa.org and the Delta pilots’ website at www.deltapilots.org.
